World of Warcraft
voice to text

Hold a hotkey, talk for as long as you want, release. A full sentence lands in WoW chat the moment you let go. No more breaking your rotation to type a paragraph. No more truncating roleplay into three-word bursts. Talk at the speed of speech, in any channel.

Open chat with Enter

Same as you always do. Pick your channel: /s, /y, /p, /raid, /g, /w name, or just plain Enter for /say.

Hold your Voisu hotkey

Pick any key WoW does not use, then hold it to talk. There is no length limit. A full RP paragraph is fine.

Release. Press Enter.

The cleaned-up text appears in your chat input within a second. Hit Enter to send. The whole loop is faster than typing a single line.

Where Voisu changes the game

A small change in input speed turns into a huge change in what you can do mid-fight, mid-scene, or mid-pug.

Speak in character, paragraphs at a time

The biggest unlock. Long-form RP that used to take a minute of typing now takes ten seconds of speaking. Scenes keep their momentum. Emotes get the detail they deserve. You actually stay in character, because you are speaking like one instead of hunting for the apostrophe key.

Call mechanics live, mid-pull

Your raid is on Discord, but the pug DPS isn't. Voisu lets you call out mechanics in /raid without dropping a single button press. Stack calls, swap calls, lust timing, target priorities, ready checks: all spoken, all typed, all on your hotkey.

Coordinate without alt-tabbing

3v3, RBGs, world PvP. You don't have time to type "cc the healer in the lumber mill flag room". You have time to say it. Whether your team is in your discord or in /party, your call lands instantly.

Stay in the conversation

Replying to guild chat while questing, AFKing in Orgrimmar, or running back from a wipe stops being a chore. A two-sentence reply takes the same time as a "lol". You actually keep up, so people actually keep talking to you.

Whisper while you push keys

Long whispers to your guild master, your raid lead, your in-game friend: all of them get the time they deserve, even when you are in the middle of a dungeon. No more "ttyl in combat" cop-outs.

Post your group, then keep playing

Recruiting for a key, advertising your enchant in /trade, finding a fourth for the daily heroic. Long descriptive messages without breaking your dailies. Spell out the loot rules in /raid without freezing the pull.

Your text shows up polished

Voisu doesn't dump raw speech into chat. It rewrites filler-heavy mumbles into clean prose before the text appears. You sound exactly as articulate in /say as you do in your head.

Raw speech
um ok so like everyone stack on me for the meteor and uh max range for ice block, oh and healers like swap on the second drain yeah
Lands in chat as
Everyone stack on me for the meteor, max range for ice block, healers swap on the second drain.
Knows the lore

Voisu picks up WoW-specific vocabulary the way generic dictation can't. Boss names, classes, specs, zones, raids, slang. Sapphiron, Karazhan, Onyxia, Bloodlust, Mythic Plus, Sunwell, Naxxramas, kite, aggro, aoe, oom, peel, cleave: all transcribed correctly the first time. No more shouting "Sapphire on" into /raid.

The 255-character limit, solved

WoW caps every chat message at 255 characters. The Voisu Chat addon takes whatever long, cleaned-up text Voisu produces, splits it on word boundaries, and sends each chunk in sequence with safe throttling. One file works on every version of the game.

Works on Vanilla 1.12, Classic Era, Cataclysm Classic, Mists of Pandaria, and Retail.

A whole productivity app, in one hotkey

Voisu wasn't built for one game. It works in every Windows app: Discord, Word, Outlook, Chrome, terminals, anything that takes a keyboard. WoW is just where it shines hardest.

Voice to text, anywhere

Hold to talk, release to type, into any field on Windows. Discord, browser, email, chat, code.

Ask AI on any text

Highlight a quest description, a discord message, an item tooltip. Hit ask, get an answer in a popup.

Radial quick actions

Tap the hotkey for a pie menu: mic mute, window tile, screenshot, mute audio, twenty more.

Power Bar launcher

Type to launch any app, switch windows, do math, define a word, search the web. Like Spotlight on Mac.

Common questions from WoW players

Is using Voisu against Blizzard's terms of service?
Voisu acts exactly like a keyboard. It does not read the WoW client's memory, does not call any WoW API, does not automate gameplay, and does not interact with the game in any way the operating system would not allow a USB keyboard to. The text simply appears in whatever field is focused, the same way Dragon NaturallySpeaking or Windows Voice Access have done for decades. That said, we cannot speak for Blizzard's enforcement.
Does it work in WoW Classic and Retail?
Yes. Voisu types into whatever Windows app has focus. Retail, Classic, Cataclysm Classic, Season of Discovery, Hardcore, and any future client all work the same way. The chat box is the chat box.
What hotkey should I use so it doesn't break my keybinds?
You pick your own hotkey during setup, so it never collides with your existing keybinds. Any single key works, as do modifier combos like Ctrl+` and side-mouse buttons. Popular picks for WoW: an unused F-key, the tilde key, a side-mouse button, or any modifier combo you don't already have bound in-game.
Does it work in every chat channel?
Yes. /say, /yell, /party, /raid, /guild, /officer, /whisper, custom channels, BattleTag whispers, the Group Finder chat, everything. Voisu does not know or care which channel you have selected. It types into the focused field.
Will it slow down my game or eat my framerate?
No. Voisu uses a few megabytes of memory and only does real work for the second or two it takes to transcribe. The recording itself uses your microphone at 16kHz, which is trivial. WoW will not notice.
Does it work in other games too?
Anywhere the text field accepts a paste. Voisu drops your words in with Ctrl+V, so Final Fantasy XIV chat, Discord during raid night, Elder Scrolls Online guild chat, and EVE Online local all work. A few games block pasting into their chat box (Counter-Strike and League of Legends, for example), and Voisu cannot type into those. If you can paste into it, Voisu works.
Can I roleplay in languages other than English?
Yes. Voisu transcribes 50+ languages including Spanish, German, French, Russian, Portuguese, and Mandarin. Useful for the German RP servers, the French guilds on Hyjal, or anyone whose Common is not their first language.
Is my voice stored anywhere?
No. Audio is sent to our servers for transcription, then immediately discarded. Recordings are never stored, transcripts are never retained, and audio is never linked to your account. The radial menu and Power Bar work fully offline.

Stop typing. Start playing.

Download Voisu free. Two minutes to install, thirty seconds to bind a hotkey, then your WoW chat moves at the speed of your voice.
