Agreement
Using Voisu means you accept these terms.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Voisu, the desktop application and associated website operated by Voisu ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the software, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Voisu.
The service
What Voisu is and what it does.
Voisu is a Windows desktop application that provides voice-to-text transcription, keyboard shortcuts, and productivity tools. Some features are available free of charge. Others require a paid Pro subscription.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where possible, we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.
Your account
You are responsible for your account.
To use paid features you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported OAuth provider. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Subscriptions & billing
Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly.
Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details. Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Voisu offers a free trial so you can evaluate the service before subscribing.
Acceptable use
Use Voisu for lawful purposes only.
You agree not to use Voisu to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Record or transcribe conversations without the consent of all parties where required by law.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the service.
- Share, resell, or sublicense access to your account or the Pro features.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
Third-party services
Transcription is powered by an external AI provider.
Voice-to-text transcription is processed by a third-party large language model provider. By using this feature you acknowledge that your audio is transmitted to that provider and processed under their own terms and privacy policy.
We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or availability of third-party services.
Intellectual property
Voisu and its content belong to us.
The Voisu application, website, branding, and all associated content are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
You retain full ownership of any content you create or transcribe using Voisu. We claim no rights over your transcriptions or voice recordings.
Disclaimer
Voisu is provided as-is.
To the extent permitted by law, Voisu is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, Voisu. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Termination
Either party may end the relationship.
You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
On termination, your right to use the Pro features ceases immediately. Free features that run locally on your device are not affected.
Changes to these terms
We will notify you of material changes.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice within the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Voisu after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by English law.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws in your country apply.
